The beauty of this book is that although the story is engaging, the characters are so well developed, that I found them to be the best part of the book. While the book is titled The Boy from the Woods, it’s not really about him, but about how things unfold around him. It’s more about the terrible tying times of high school and adolescence and what happens when those who go unpunished for their crimes as a youth grow up to be an adult and view themselves above it all. This is a great book.

I loved the part that the teacher give the student egg but Greg brought it back as a scrambled egg.

Klara and the Sun was an interesting story that showed the love between Josie and Klara who’s an AF (artificial friend) and Josie and Rick, her childhood neighbor friend. The father showed how machines can replace us in the future. It had a caste like system where Josie was uplifted and Rick wasn’t. . It showed the importance of the sun that was portrayed like God. The story wasn’t exciting but makes the reader think

I enjoyed the way the author surprised the reader by revealing who Pearl and Geneva were. I also thought the twists were good. I felt bad for Selena with her father and husband both being cheaters. I liked how Pearl was like Selena’s protector

In this story Each Kindness, there was a girl named Chloe she had two friends Kendra and Sophie. Then, one day a new girl came to the class her name was Maya. But, Chloe was mean to Maya. When, Maya smiled Chloe didn't smile back and Chloe never played with her. Then, Maya's seat was empty for many days. The teacher said she had to move to a new school. Chloe was sad, she wished she was nicer to Maya. I like this book because, it teaches people the importance of kindness.

The book is about two kids go back in time for some thing for Merlin because she is sick and they found a monster.

I like how 3 girls are best friends and in a band that called star darlings.
